Truth in Advertising

Just when I thought there's no more truth in advertising these days, I stumble upon a little book with the absolutely un-PC title of "The harder a wife works, the cuter she gets." And when you see a title like that, you know you just had to grab it. What it is it turns out is a compilation of old print advertisements that are so ridiculous you marvel what influence the brains behind it were under while crafting them.
